Classical Chinese Medicine is a nature based, comprehensive medicine. It treats the whole person. Stimulating an acupuncture point helps harmonize the functioning of the physical body, the flow of emotions, and the state of the spirit. Each point reminds your being of its innate capacity for healing & more ease in living.
Acupuncture is Effective in Treating Many Conditions :
Physical Pain, Psycho-Emotional Conditions, Trauma, Anxiety, ‘Stress’, Depression, Migraines, Insomnia, Mood Swings, Anger, Frustration, Irregular Menstruation, Fertility, Conception, Low Libido Night Sweats, Chronic Pain, Arthritis, ADD, ADHD, Side Effects of Chemotherapy, Anorexia, Bulimia, Ringing in the Ears, Shyness, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
(Remember, this medicine treats the whole person, the past and the present. Anything you are experiencing is treatable.)
In its origins Chinese Medicine was a preventive medicine. The ancients understood that longevity & vitality were granted to those who obeyed the natural laws. Unlike traditional western medicine you do not need to have a 'symptom' or 'label' to begin treatment.
What to Expect:
The initial appointment takes 75-90 minutes. Follow-up treatments last about 55 minutes. This time includes our conversation, health history intake, pulse reading, tongue inspection, and the needle treatment. I also incorporate the use of stones, crystals and essential oils into my treatments when indicated. You rest comfortably while the treatment occurs.
Acupuncture needles are very thin, about the width of a cat's whisker. They are stainless steel, filiform needles meaning that they are NOT hollow. The needles are placed on the body in specific locations - acupuncture points- to open and enhance the flow of subtle energies. Flow versus stuckness.
Initial Appointment, Intake & Treatment - 90 Minutes $165.00
Follow-up Treatment - 55 Minutes $85.00
