Please join me for a 2 week journey of seasonal nourishment. During the Cleanse you will eat local, seasonal whole foods while eliminating inflammatory & allergenic foods. Enjoy healthy fats to enhance satiety and balance blood sugar. Include specific herbal teas to support immune health and vitality.
All sugars, caffeine, and alcohol are omitted. Following the 2 weeks participants choose what/if they want to re-introduce. The re-introduciton phase empowers one to know - on a body level - which foods nourish and which foods stress your system.
One of the most rewarding and fun parts of our Cleanse is the face-to-face group meetings. We eat together. Share recipes. We become a community with a common aspiration to learn, to grow and to become a better steward of our whole being. The group support, inspiration and camaraderie are a key component of the Cleanse.
It’s normal to experience a reduction of energy at the start of the Cleanse. Many of the foods that you will eliminate have been an energy crutch for you. Without the usual crutches you come to know a more true level of energy. These 2 weeks are an opportunity for your body to restore & reset.
We may not be going to Costa Rica yet make this your retreat. Let this be an intentional time for reconnecting with body, heart and spirit. Take exercise more gently. Allow space for quietude & reflection. Be open to hearing and healing what may be under habituated ways of using food. If it feels ‘right’, choose to be less social during the two weeks and more mindful of how and who you share your energies with. Above all, be kind to yourself.
