Classical Chinese Medicine is comprehensive and holistic. Each acupuncture point addresses the physical body, the emotions, and the spirit.
In its origin this medicine was practiced as preventive. You do not need to have a 'symptom' or 'label' to begin treatment.
What to Expect:
Follow-up treatments last about 55 minutes. This time includes our conversation, health history intake, pulse reading, and the needle treatment. Once the needles are in place you rest comfortably while the treatment occurs.
Acupuncture needles are very thin, about the width of a cat's whisker. They are placed on the body in specific locations to open and enhance the flow of subtle energies. Acupuncture treatment supports that body's innate capacity to heal.
Realign with seasonal energies. Reconnect with the infinite wisdom of your body. And, relearn how wonderful it feels to nourish yourself with local, seasonal produce.
For 2 weeks we eliminate refined & processed foods; enjoy seasonal meals that reset and restore body, mind & spirit; practice simple qi gong movements; and, perhaps, most importantly, we grow together in mindfulness and self-awareness.
We meet three evenings to share a seasonal potluck, inspiration & to offer support. Following each communal meeting participants receive the NADA Acu Detox treatment which supports you as you detoxify and rejuvenate.
