Moon School: The Spring Session
Women have been gathering in circles under the moon for millennia. Gathering in circles is woven into our DNA. We gather for healing. For sharing stories, tears and laughter. For singing songs to la luna, the mother. We gather to honor the sacred, wisdom and power of the feminine at each phase of our living. It is in the gathering that the alchemical fire of belonging to heaven and earth - to Self, other and the sacred mystery - is stoked and tended lovingly.
Women are governed by blood, by cycles and by the tides of contraction and expansion.
Join me and a community of kindreds to make the journey from the dark tomb of winter, the most yin season, to the fields of spring’s return. Our monthly gatherings will include poetry, reflection, connecting, setting and sharing new moon intentions in small groups and teachings from a 5 Element Chinese Medical perspective. Woven throughout the session I’ll share reflections on how to align with the Cycles of 7 that govern the unfolding of female bodies.
✨ This course is for female-bodied persons and those who identify as female. This course is not limited to those in perimenopause and/or menopause, yet care for these essential phases of a woman’s life will be woven throughout the course.✨
✨✨✨Classes will be held via Zoom on Sundays, 5-6:30pm ET✨✨✨
Sunday, February 15th, 2026: New Moon in Aquarius*
Sunday, March 15th, 2026: New Moon in Pisces*
Sunday, April 19th, 2026: New Moon in Aries*
(*times of class not the actual time of the new moon)
✨✨✨ All classes will be recorded and sent to participants. ✨✨✨
Participants will learn (remember):
Introduction to the Cycles of 7 in Chinese cosmology and how to align with them
The seasonal & astrological significance of each new moon
The astrological themes/invitation of each new moon and how to work with them
Practices to calm the nervous system to foster present moment awareness & wonder
Herbs to call upon to nourish yin - hormones, blood, fluids - to keep body, mind and spirit agile, bright and harmonious
Seasonal-specific practices and dietary guidance for attunement and well-being
How to attune with the four lunar phases for ease, abundance and flow (video)
How to use ritual for creativity, flow & integration
Hows and whys of crafting a powerful intention
MOON School is divided into four distinct sessions/ seasons.
Each session includes:
Three virtual gatherings with teachings specific to the three new moons of that season.
Space for connecting, setting and sharing new moon intentions in small groups
Conversation on the ways in which the moon exerts her quiet, powerful influence upon us in unique ways according to the lunar phase and the phase of life that we inhabit.
Practices to cultivate the yin arts - stillness, reflection, intuition and allowing.
Between classes, participants will be invited to perform rituals — from fire ceremony to creating sacred space to holy wandering in nature to herbal foot soaks — as a way of connecting more deeply with the smaller and larger cycles of Self, Nature & sacred others.
